STUDENTS SUCCESSFUL?

 

Distance education students are voluntarily seeking further education. Therefore, they are highly motivated and self-disciplined. Usually, they are also older, which gives an advantage over traditional students, usually younger: maturity and experience. Another reason why distance education students are successful is that most of them are working in the field that they are studying. As students study and learn about new ideas, concepts, methods, techniques, etc, they can apply all this theory to their jobs and like this achieve a better understanding.

Distance education is focused on the needs of the learner, student centered, and the role students play is interactive, providing more time for reflection, experimentation, and application of new ideas.
